What You're Up Against
Sand Shape Level 2 presents a 4x4 grid with a fixed 2x2 empty hole at the center. Your goal is to completely fill the outer ring using exactly four 3-cell L-shaped tiles—no overlaps, no gaps, no filling the center. You’ll toggle between Paint Mode (pencil icon) and Erase Mode (pencil with slash) to place and correct shapes.
Beating Sand Shape Level 2
- Tap the bottom-most red-striped cell inside the top-left tutorial L-shape to erase the extra cell.
- Switch to Paint Mode using the bottom-center button (pencil icon without slash).
- Tap the top-leftmost empty cell of the outer ring (guided by the white dot) to place an orange L-shape.
- Tap the top-right empty cell to place a yellow L-shape.
- Tap the bottom-right empty cell to place a green L-shape.
- The final L-shape automatically fills the remaining bottom-left corner—once all four are correctly placed, “LEVEL COMPLETE” appears with fireworks.
Doing It Faster
- Visualize how each L-shape fits into the corners before tapping—each occupies three adjacent cells in an L orientation.
- Place shapes in clockwise order (top-left → top-right → bottom-right → bottom-left) to maintain spatial awareness.
- Use Erase Mode immediately after misplacement—don’t reposition manually; delete and restart that tile.
Where Players Slip Up
- Filling the central 2x2 area: it must remain empty—this is part of the level’s design, not an error.
- Overlapping L-shapes or leaving single-cell gaps in the outer ring—both invalidate the solution.
- Skipping tutorial prompts, especially the Erase Mode introduction, leading to frustration when corrections are needed.
- Confusing Paint/Erase Mode icons—verify the active tool before tapping, as missteps compound quickly. This walkthrough ensures you avoid those pitfalls, and the solution hinges on disciplined corner-first placement. Sand Shape Level 2 rewards methodical play—not speed—and mastering its mechanics sets you up for success in later levels.
