What You're Up Against
Sand Shape Level 4 presents a Z-shaped 8-square grid with the center square missing. You must place four unique 2-square domino blocks—green (horizontal), blue (vertical), purple (vertical), and orange (horizontal)—into precise positions. You have exactly 4 minutes, and misplacing any block triggers a red error overlay and resets the attempt.
Beating Sand Shape Level 4
- Place the green horizontal domino into the top-left two squares.
- Place the blue vertical domino into the top-right and middle-right squares.
- Place the purple vertical domino into the middle-left and bottom-left squares.
- Place the orange horizontal domino into the bottom-middle and bottom-right squares. Once all four are correctly positioned, the Z outline completes—and you’ve solved Sand Shape Level 4.
Doing It Faster
- Watch the shovel icon at the bottom-center: it shows your next block before you drag—use that to plan ahead.
- Prioritize corner placements first—they lock in orientation and reduce trial-and-error.
- Ignore symmetrical assumptions: each domino has one correct orientation and location; rotation isn’t allowed.
Where Players Slip Up
- Forcing a domino into a mismatched slot—causes instant red error and wastes time.
- Overlooking the “Required Shapes” bar at the top, which tracks unplaced pieces and helps avoid repeats.
- Rushing rotations or placements without verifying alignment—this walkthrough confirms no rotation is needed; the solution is position-only.
