What You're Up Against
Sand Shape Level 5 features a 4x4 grid with fixed brown walls blocking certain cells. Your goal is to form exactly two vertical 1x2 rectangles—one in column 3 (rows 1–2), one in column 2 (rows 1–2). You must tap and drag straight down from the top cell of each pair; horizontal or diagonal draws won’t register. A visible timer adds urgency, and drawing through walls triggers an error.
Beating Sand Shape Level 5
- Tap Row 1, Column 3 (top row, third cell from left) and drag straight down to Row 2, Column 3 to create the first vertical block.
- Tap Row 1, Column 2 (top row, second cell from left) and drag straight down to Row 2, Column 2 to complete the second vertical block.
- Both shapes must appear in the “Required Shapes” panel—once confirmed, the level completes automatically.
Doing It Faster
- Scan wall positions before tapping: only columns 2 and 3 have unobstructed vertical pairs in rows 1–2.
- Skip checking colors—the solution depends solely on shape and location, not hue.
- If you misdrag, use Replay (gear icon) immediately—backtracking mid-draw wastes more time than restarting.
Where Players Slip Up
- Dragging through walls or attempting horizontal draws in restricted zones triggers instant errors.
- Starting in column 1 or 4, where vertical 1x2 placement is blocked by walls, leads to dead ends.
- Ignoring the “Required Shapes” panel and guessing placements wastes precious seconds—and this walkthrough assumes precision, not trial-and-error. The solution is fully deterministic: no alternate configurations work. For more help, consult our full Sand Shape Level 5 walkthrough.
